The Giants were one victory away from the NFC East title. Despite playing with a depleted group on players on the offense line and at linebacker, the Giants broke a second-half time and defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, 27-17, Saturday evening in Giants Stadium. The Giants improved to 10-4 and need only win one of their last two games – on the road at Washington and Oakland – to claim their first division championship since 2000
