Dallas vs. NY GIANTS
brought to you by:
 Pepsi Joe and Daryl

Score of the Game:
Giants 20 Cowboys 31

Highlights of the Game:
With first place at stake in the NFC East, the Giants were outplayed in the second half, hurt themselves with costly penalties and lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 31-20, Sunday evening in Giants Stadium. The Giants had their six-game winning streak snapped and fell to 6-3. The Cowboys improved to 8-1, but their lead over the Giants is effectively three games because Dallas swept the season series. Tony Romo threw four touchdown passes – two to Terrell Owens and one apiece to Tony Curtis and Patrick Crayton. Nick Folk kicked a 44-yard field goal for the Cowboys, who outscored the Giants, 14-3, over the last two quarters after a 17-17 halftime tie.

Tailgate Highlights:
Pepsi Joe and Daryl came out swinging, pointing to the fact that the evil Cowboys needed to be beaten to prove who owned the NFC East!! Traditional pre-tailgate appetizers gave way to deep-fried hush puppies and chili, warming the gullets of ice-cold beer drinking Giants fans. A healthy dose of meat followed, when ribs, meatloaf, and filet au jus was piled on plates to the tune of “Don’t you really know, Tony Romo is a Homo!” Alas, if only Eli and the Giants could match their tailgating fans vim and vigor before every home matchup…they were defeated yet again. Yet foul play on the part of the home team can not, will not, and must not dissuade loyal fans from their weekly pilgrimage into the heart of the Rutherford swamps to binge in Bacchanalian whimsy, promoting pigskin as the answer to their weekly work troubles. Oh what joy these tailgates bring. And credit must be given to the work that gets put into hosting such a feast. Sure enough, week by week the hearty heroes of 17 E (now 18 F) continue a true tailgating mastery over all NFC, yea, even NFL foes.
